Stepping up to see the king!

March 26, 2015

Greetings Canaan English Ministry members and friends!

Ultimately, it’s all about inviting people to follow Jesus and helping them become worshipers of God, isn’t it? Nothing is a better testimony to the truth of the gospel than to see busy people serve and lead in their churches. That’s because, despite all their commitments to family, study, work, raising kids, maintaining friendships, these folks are willing to publicly show that the body of Christ is their top priority. We come closer to our vision of EM 2.0 when more busy brothers and sisters “step up” and help us to lift up Jesus and draw more people to him. So thanks Bob and Dennis, Ed and Arthur, Rachel and James, Ming and Mei, William Effendy and Chris Su for your EM adult leadership over the past couple of weeks!

HOLY WEEK IS COMING (March 29-April 5)
True followers of Jesus believe every week (indeed, every moment) is holy. But the week between Jesus’ entry to Jerusalem and his resurrection is extra holy. Let us pause during that week to worship a God who triumphs over evil and corruption by service and sacrifice!
