Easter Greetings Canaan English Ministry members and friends!

2770057-231801-thank-you-vector-stampLast weekend was the most incredible display of service and worship leadership that I’ve seen among our English Ministries! A big, big thank you to Christina Chen and Wendy Huang for organizing and leading the praise portions of our all-church worship service last Sunday. Our Praise Band and choir did a tremendous job!

Many of us also led the Easter Egg hunts for our kids. Thanks Children’s Ministry!

Thanks to so many (especially our youth) who served lunch! Thanks to Chris Su for leading the lunch service.

And appreciations again to everyone who led the wonderful Good Friday service and the San Jose City Team kitchen service ministry!

Welcome Ming and Mei..001It was great to hear the testimony of our newest member, Ming Su. Meixuan also officially joined Canaan, but was sick. I’m sure we’ll hear story again. Both Ming and Mei are already serving and leading. We welcome you, dear brother and sister, to our church family!

God is good. He stirs up his people’s desire to glorify his name and advance his kingdom. We are so grateful to start the season of resurrection with such enthusiasm and joy!

This Sunday, we start our Easter sermon series on the “Gifts of the Spirit” by looking at the git of prophesy. God builds up his people by gifting them and then empowering them to share their gifts. As we build towards English Ministry 2.0, let us prayerfully consider what our gifts are and be ready to share them for the common good!

By God’s grace, as CTCC continues to grow, there is a need to reconfigure the physical space here to better serve the needs of the church. Session has determined a 2-month period, from 3/15 to 5/15, where we will actively raise funds for Phase One of the Reconstruction Project. Please get a “Phase One Building Fund Faith Pledge Form” in the back of the Worship Hall. The form will be available until 5/15. Please take it home and lift up this project in your prayers. Then return the completed pledge form to the Finance deacons or place it in the offering bag as soon as possible, but no later than 5/15. Ed Chen [email Ed] or Arthur Saye [email Arthur] for more information.
