January 22, 2016
Dear Canaan members and friends,
I trust you’ve had a good week!
Thanks everyone who took time to become more familiar with the current Syrian Refugee crisis. Special thanks to those who supported World Vision’s work with refugees or got involved with International Rescue Committee’s efforts in the Bay Area! Please keep displaced people around the world in your prayers.
Also advanced thanks to Shirley Tai for helping out with tomorrow’s Emerging Leaders’s Seminar! God is raising up leaders for Asian American churches!
See you Sunday!

Hotel-style accommodations, cabins (for youth), and tent camping available. Distance between swimming pool, basketball courts, athletic fields, meeting areas, and hiking trails are very short. Elder Shirley Tai is leading a team to organize the retreat [mail]. Please speak to her if you have any questions and/or would like to help. Visit canaanem.org/em-retreat-2016/ for details.
